[As the feed starts, viewers are greeted to a close up of a green face.

It's just a Metapod, chillin' there. It's only until the person recording speaks that it becomes obvious who this Metapod belongs to - and he doesn't sound very amused.]

What the hell happened to my Caterpie?

[At least he's straight to the point. Despite doing some research, this is his first pokémon to evolve and he isn't quite sure what to make of it or why it happened.]

So Ghost-types are weak against Dark? What isn't good against them?

Normal- and Fighting-types are completely ineffective against them, barring a few special moves and abilities. Then again, Normal-types are immune against ghosts in return.

That's odd that normal and ghost-types cancel each other out. I'm so used to one element being stronger or weaker against another.

I think they're the only type matchup that does that. The closest you get with others is mutual neutrality.

I guess it makes sense, considering ghosts technically don't have physical forms...

Tell that to my Ghost-type that's also a clay statue.

...A few of the Yamasks might be, but not all of them.

That isn't much of an answer. Guess I could try and find out more information about it...

The people of Lavender Town might know more, since they like their ghosts so much.

No one's died from those incidents yet, at least. There is that.

That's good, at least... I'm glad this place generally seems against death and destruction.

Destruction is still present here, in some places. But the locals usually repair the damage surprisingly quickly.

But there hasn't been any major battles or wars that have taken place recently, right?

Not since I showed up, which is admittedly not that long ago.
