[The feed starts and viewers are greeted to the sight of Raikov attempting to put little booties on Katya's feet. She already clad in a tiny scarf. Dat Joltik has sum style.]
... I'd take the crazy weather over terrorist-like attacks any day. Things might be quiet for now but who knows how long that'll last? Was it like this in any of the previous years?
[Because he really hopes this isn't a repeating offense. This place was supposed to be war free... It just doesn't feel right. He'd never admit it out loud but that weapon Cobra showed last week has him worried. The last thing this world needs is a nuclear super weapon or something like it.
He lets out an exasperated sigh. Always the drama queen. Katya just chirps and tilts her head.]
I've been meaning to ask a few other things as well.
For the pokemon that evolve via stone, when do you know is the "right" moment to give them one? Is there ever one...?
How difficult are the routes to travel during the winter?
And lastly... Why the hell is everyone doing their holiday shopping so early? New Years isn't for another month and a half.
[Someone isn't aware of "Christmas" outside of the Motherland. Oops.]
[Private to Scar//Unhackable;]
Hey. Is Kashet doing any better? Natasha's mood has been improving since their play date. I think it really helped her. Perhaps we should get together for another. Do you like tea?

My starter's a Growlithe, too.
'Course, I have my own reasons for not evolving him...
... What's your reason, if you don't mind me asking?
... I don't like dogs.
Never have.
I've had him for years so I've gotten used to him and his quirks, but he's already huge.
If I evolve him, he'd be the size of a small bus.
Not so sure I wanna deal with it.
People mistake him for a very small Arcanine already.
So like...
[She slowly spreads her arms to indicate how BRAIN-BREAKINGLY ENORMOUS he would become.]
... Guess I should ask myself if I want a fluffy tank.
[It's tempting.]
[... Heather it's not the entire species' fault that your particular Growlithe happened to be dropped out of the Idiot Tree.]
[But who doesn't love big, stupid dogs?]
[But he checks his Pokedex and just... stares.]
... That's terrifying.
I rode one once. Coolest thing ever.
... On the other hand, I wouldn't trust my Growlithe as far as I could throw him not to wreak total havoc if I evolved him.
[Not maliciously, mind. But YOU try describing an Arcanine merrily rolling around in someone's spilled shrimp scampi in the middle of a restaurant and knocking over half the tables in the process as anything but chaos.]
I'm guessing your Growlithe is... rowdy then? I suppose I got lucky on that front. Mine's the perfect guard dog.
Not a good combo.
I'm sorry.
Four years and he still acts like the day I got him.
