[Raikov's chillin' on the beach, clad in nothing but sunglasses and a black speedo. He's got the device set down next to him in the sand. His other Pokemon can be seen running around in the distance behind him. Katya is by his side like always though, sporting a tiny straw hat. lookit how stylish she is. gurrlll]

I have to say, I've got some good luck as far as traveling goes. I arrived in Olivine right after the week-long rain and now the weather is beautiful. I was never one for beaches back home but this place is amazing. There's a perfect breeze coming off the ocean, it's not too hot out... I think I'll be staying here for a while. I may even be able to work on getting a tan instead of burning like I usually do.

[Curse his semi-albinism. He looks pleased though.]

Mmm.. I never thought I'd say this but... this is the life. Even with how weird this world operates, I'm glad I'm here.

[Katya chirps in agreement from the hole she's dug in the sand. Raikov rolls on to his side to face his pokegear and props his sunglasses up slightly. There's that mischievous grin that clearly reads "I'm up to no good."]

But enough about me being all sentimental and soft. You've all had more than enough time to admire the view. If I let this go on any longer, I'll have to start charging.

[And he grabs the pokegear, thus ending the recording. What a brat.]

It seem your Pokémon are enjoying it too, which is nice. Once I reach Olivine, Piplup will love to dive into that sea. It looks so inviting.

I'm surprised they're enjoying it as much as they are. Most of them can't actually go into the water.

[Well, hey there, speedo guy! Hope you don't mind that frisbee that just came whizzing by just a few inches over your head. Fortunately, the Garchomp that comes gallumphing after it has enough decency to go around you rather than trying to go through you.

... that said, though, she might kick up a bunch of sand as she's thundering past. Some of which miiight land on you. WHOOPS. Sorry about that.]

[Raikov quickly rolls over after having the sensation of something flying dangerously close to him. Once the frisbee passes, he sits up and glares in the direction it came from.

And just as he's about to speak, he gets sand tossed at him.]

... Hey! Watch where you're throwing that!

[His own Pokemon look over as he shouts at the culprit.]

[And speaking of the culprit, here he comes! Have a dude in his mid-to-late teens jogging towards you, Raikov. He cringes when he sees how Raikov's dressed, saying:]

Ugh -- my bad. I didn't realize this was where all the geriatric strippers hung out.

[HE'S JUST GONNA VERY CAREFULLY NOT LOOK AT RAIKOV AS HE'S COMING AROUND TO TAKE THE FRISBEE FROM HIS GARCHOMP... she's crouched down on all fours in the sand, gnawing on and slobbering all over the frisbee. She growls when Yusuke reaches down to try to grab it, but that doesn't seem to deter him at all. Nor does the fact that she doesn't want to let it go when he does grab it, though he does cuss at her a little and call her a rude name. Pardon them while they have a bit of a tug-of-war over here...]

[Oh Yusuke. You did not just call him that. Raikov puffs out his cheeks and lets out an angry huff, sticking his nose in the air. Brat mode activated.]

Hmph! I'll have you know I'm neither of the things you described me as.

[And the fact that Yusuke insulted Raikov causes the tiny Joltik to spark a bit. She chirps angrily, not that either trainer can understand her.]

[Yusuke doesn't look at either of them. He's too busy trying to wrangle this damn frisbee out from between the jaws of his giant dinosaur thing.]

Oh yeah? Coulda fooled me-- dammit, let it go already!

[Well, if you insist... the Garchomp holds fast for a moment longer, and then abruptly opens her mouth and relinquishes the frisbee, catching Yusuke by surprise and causing him to lose his balance and fall back onto his rear end. WELP. That sure was graceful, wasn't it.]

Olivine is one of my favorite towns. It reminds me a lot of my islands.
